All About Abbie

Hey there! My name is Abigail (Busing) Gouin. You can call me Abbie! I'm blessed to be married to a hard working welder named Jon who supports me in all that I do. I’m a mother to two handsome boys and a beautiful baby girl, and a bonus mom to two elementary school girls. I’ve always been an avid reader and a lover of all things antique, distressed and unique. I actually ran my first business selling antiques on Etsy in high school! I’m a self-taught yogi, an adventure seeker, and a passionate photographer. I love indie rock music, road trips, reading poetry and fiction, and taking care of my plants.

I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with my kids during the day, while running my photography business and capturing photos in the evenings and on the weekends. I am most passionate about photographing families and children. I also really enjoy fine art/nature photography. There’s something about getting out into nature with my Nikon in hand that just soothes my soul. I've always had an "eye" for the camera, and in 2016 I started this business that I've been dreaming of forever. It's such an honor to capture the genuine smiles and the unforgettable moments in people's lives. Even more than that, it's a way for me to express my creativity and capture my own life in a way that I can share with the world. 

As the name Archetype Images implies, I strive to create images in a unique and consistent way. My goal is always to put your personality on display, while staying true to my artistic style. I love to explore new places and photograph my subjects in interesting contexts. My favorite part of photographing people is capturing the true emotional connection between loved ones. I love using prompts to create compelling images that tell a story.
