When your best friend gives birth to the most beautiful baby ever, ya gotta take pictures. Am I right?! And when baby’s nursery is plant themed…well, it only seemed natural for me to surround her with beautiful plants for her portraits! She came to see me at two weeks old with the most gorgeous head of hair and a chill vibe. Even when she was awake during her session, she was just so relaxed! Such a sweet baby!!

I can’t wait to watch this lil sprout grow into a beautiful young woman and hopefully take lots of pictures along the way! ;)

I’m very partial to the “lifestyle” approach when it comes to newborn photography. I like to get a variety of both sleeping and awake poses, and love using natural light either outdoors or in front of a window. This particular set up was in my dining room, but I can always find the right light in your home if you want pictures of baby in the nursery or snuggled up in bed as a family.
